VP of Finance

We are thrilled to represent a leading real estate company as they seek a Vice President of Finance to join their dynamic team. The Vice President of Finance will be instrumental in overseeing financial operations, strategic financial planning, and ensuring compliance within the real estate industry. This role requires a strong background in both finance and operational accounting, coupled with extensive experience in the real estate sector.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the finance team, providing guidance and oversight on all financial matters.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth objectives and maximize profitability within the real estate industry.
• Oversee financial reporting, including the preparation of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
• Manage cash flow, liquidity, and financial risk within the organization.
• Collaborate with senior management to evaluate investment opportunities, assess financial feasibility, and support decision-making processes.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, including tax regulations and GAAP principles.
• Drive process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the finance and accounting functions.
• Establish and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles within the real estate industry.
• Strong understanding of real estate financial concepts, including property valuation, asset management, and lease accounting.
• Proven track record of leadership and strategic financial management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed decisions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Real Estate industry experience is required.

Compensation: $200,000 - $240,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
